What I Did
For this project, I handled the complete design and development process, working closely with the client to ensure the website accurately reflected the existing brand identity while adapting it to a digital context.
Starting from a well-defined identity manual, my role was to translate the brand into a clear, functional, and visually consistent web experience. The focus was on simplicity, clarity, and performance, avoiding unnecessary complexity while creating a site that feels warm, modern, and easy to navigate.
I worked independently throughout the project, from initial structure and layout decisions to final development and subtle motion design, validating key steps with the client along the way.
UX/UI Design – defined the site structure, content hierarchy, and user flow, prioritizing clarity and ease of exploration in a one-page layout
Brand translation – adapted an existing, professional identity manual into a cohesive web interface without altering the brand’s core elements
Framer development – built a responsive, performance-optimized website with subtle animations to avoid a static feel
Content & microcopy – adjusted and refined copy to fit a web context, ensuring clarity, tone consistency, and usability
Focus Areas
Translating a physical dining experience into a calm, digital interface
Balancing visual warmth with structure and legibility
Prioritizing content hierarchy over complex features
Designing for real-world usage rather than exploration-heavy flows
Implementing bilingual content (English and French) to support both local and international audiences
